"Enough"
By Paul McKeever
I can be louder
I can think bolder
I can stand stronger
But I just keep holding on
Inside I get nowhere
This could take me right under
Or I could take it right over
And try to make it like home
There's nothing new about the moonlight
When all you do is try to play hide
When all you see is tinted daylight
There's nothing bright about the sunlight
When all you do is keep it outside
While all your might is dying inside
So sit up and cry it out
We've said it all enough
Sit up and shout out
Enough
It'll get clearer
It'll taste sweeter
If only they would hear us
But we just keep hoping on
In time we'll get somewhere
If we put it right out there
We can take it right over
And we can make it our home
There's nothing new about the moonlight
When all you do is try to play hide
When all you see is tinted daylight
There's nothing bright about the sunlight
When all you do is keep it outside
While all your might is dying inside
So sit up and cry it out
We've said it all enough
Sit up and shout out
Enough
(Repeat)
When we feel ourselves completely
We will see our inner peace
We will free ourselves completely
And have all that we could need
(Repeat)
So sit up and cry it out
We've said it all enough
Sit up and shout out
Enough
