I awoke, in an unfamiliar room
Surrounded by the dark, all alone
I was afraid, not knowing what to do
To escape this dying world and go home
How can I live
In a world without hope?

Some light of my own
So I called, beneath the sunless sky
For a god to guide my steps on my way
Then I heard your reassuring voice
You promised it would all be okay
We heard the same
Desperate plea from everyone:
They hoped I'd save them
And make my light their sun!
I have one shot
To bring my light to this world

To help me through
Since in this world like mine
You might falter in the dark
I will do my best to share my light with you
Then I met a lonely engineer
Surviving in the face of the dark
And I helped a shepherd with his rams
And reunited siblings apart
But in my dreams
I recall my former home
Here as the savior
I always walk alone

To live my life in this world

To see me through
This world relies on me
But I hope that you can see
That I'm out of place
And almost out of time...
An ancient book in an ancient tongue
We discovered locked away
It told of the savior, the bearer of light
And what would be my fate
I must remain in this world
For my light to shine
For the light I bear reflects my own
But destroying this light
And dooming this world
Is the only way to go home!

I really miss my mama...
But I can't just leave everyone here to die...
