Lyrics: Nathan Barling
Music: Nathan Barling
You wake up with a pillow on your head
your eyes are feilled with dread
you're breath'in in the feathers that were once atop your bed
you grab and yell and try to stop the pushing ever down
your yells are slightly muffled otherwise the whole damn town-—
——would see the pillow on your head
the cloth upon your face
you don't exactly know why this event is taking place
you've tried to think of all the relationships you strained
but there's a little problem——there's no air inside your brain!
cause there's a pillow on your head, you fighting and claw and yell
the pattern of the cushion paints the picture of your hell
How long has it been——a minute two or maybe more
you give up grabbing stuffing as you reach out towards the door
your sister's down the hall——she must have heard your call!
you cries are ringing loudly there can be no doubt at all
this assailant will be caught and they'll be forced to quit
but can you keep your consciousness if only just a bit?
BREATHE!—YOU CANT!
BREATHE!—YOU CANT!
the pillows moving slightly as you heave
but it is not enough and now you spy
where's your newly opened eyes
your sister watching closely as you die.
