I ARRIVE WITHOUT FORM

I arrive before I arrive the light is still learning my shape
I step out of the silence into something softer than memory the air bends slightly as if it remembers me no armor on my skin only the idea of fabric
one breath two frames behind the world adjusts its focus to catch me
I am not entering I am continuing I am the afterlight of something becoming real donโ€™t hold me still I will disappear into motion
the ground is listening the cameras are breathing I pass through recognition like water through glass nothing breaks but everything changes
my heart is not loud it is delayed a soft error that feels like beauty
I am not entering I am continuing I am the afterlight of something becoming real donโ€™t hold me still I will disappear into motion
no ending pose only fading presence the dress still walking after I am gone
