Behold a tale of Carla the bold,
Whose body was a temple of love-
A temple that carried a garden within,
With flowers cursed to grow
Until that temple fell.
Bright Carla traveled near and far
And all who witnessed her power cried:
Fair angel how did you learn to love
A body that is bound to turn against itself?
Dear friends, she smiled, I do not blame
The body that carries carries me and my pain
And do not lament or pity my fate
For death does not define me.
The people hid their doubts in shame,
For worry and love are never the same.
But those who learned to love without fear,
Know in their hearts that she is near
And that death did not define her.
