The feast in the big castle,
Lies and spies were plated.
Toasts were made of blood,
Sweet death soon to be served.
Welcome my friends,
It's time we all be seated.
The princess by the lake wears a gown so fine.
She fades away as she steps into the water's shine.
Stumbled upon an exit in time,
Forever entwined.
The prince who lives on the star asked the sun in the sky,
“Do you see the fireworks?
They light up so high.
They are as beautiful as illusions,
So could you please not rise?"
The jester who can't laugh,
Oddly he waggles.
Bound by his secrets,
He built his own shackles.
Walked down the wrong path,
There's no turning back.
The knight with the wooden sword,
How does he look so proud?
Where's he bound?
Where's his horse?
And his battleground?
His name and glory,
Nowhere to be found.
The king asked: "What do you see?"
The prince said: "Stars"; jester said: "Flames.”
The king asked: "what do you hear?”
Prince said:" Laughs sound so clear.”
The jester said:" A tear. Like a sad song coming near."
The princess donned her gown,
Watching ashes fall like stars.
The knight mounted his war horse,
Hearing wails wasn't far.
Sobbing crescendos,
They're all watching a Hullabaloo.
